Site Council

Site council logo

The purpose of the Kennedy School Site Council is to involve staff, parents and community members in school-based shared decision-making. Kennedy parents, staff, and community partners comprise this Council. Members work to monitor progress on the goals and objectives of the Kennedy Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
The goal of school-based shared decision-making is to affect the instructional program in order to improve student achievement. At the same, shared/school-based decision-making provides a process to make informed decisions for the future through involvement of school staff, parents and community members.
When parents, students, teachers and community members unite to provide quality education for our students, a true spirit of collaboration, trust and shared decision-making provide the best ingredients for success.
