January Morning Meeting
We began 2016 in our pajamas with an all school morning meeting! Ryan was introduced as Principal for the day, which he won on Family Fun Night. Salute to Our Veterans Program
For the month of November our school is focusing on the character trait of respect. To kick off the month we held a “Salute to Our Veterans” program featuring 3rd and 5th graders singing patriotic songs and sharing quotes from John F Kennedy, our school’s namesake. Orientation Day News
Kennedy Orientation Day is Monday, August 31st with class meetings at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 and 12:00. You are required to attend a conference for each child because it is counted as a day of school, and attendance will be taken. This is a time to meet your child’s teacher, learn about grade level expectations, and bring in your child’s school supplies. The special education staff, specialists and school nurse will be available that day as well. Feel free to stop in to see them before or after your meeting with the classroom teacher. You will be receiving the Kennedy Handbook which reflects our policies and procedures and serves as a resource to parents throughout the year as questions arise.
