Another Mrs. Powers Retires
We said farewell to another Mrs. Powers this year. This Mrs. Powers has taught as a resource teacher at Kennedy for the last 16 years. Her students put together a farewell tribute as well. You can view that HERE.

Book Fair
Did you know our Spring Groovy Book Fair held during conferences totaled $6800 in sales! This entitled Kennedy to $800 cash, $1,642.49 in Scholastic dollars to purchase books and $672.67 in Scholastic Bonus dollars because our sale was large. Thanks for supporting our library during conferences! You are FANTASTIC parents!

STEM night
STEM night was a blast at Kennedy….literally! About 80 University of Dubuque students led many fun activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math for Kennedy students and families. From bottle launching to creating goo, to working math problems with M&M’s, students and families had a great time! For all the fun in pictures, click HERE!

Kennedy Elementary School hosted its Family STEM Night on March 21, organized and planned by students and faculty from the University of Dubuque. An estimated 400 students and family members from Kennedy attended this evening of hand-on activities in science, technology, engineering and math.
